IMPACT OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE ON TURKISH MANUFACTURING EMPLOYMENT

The aim of this study is to analyze the impact international trade on employment in Turkish manufacturing industry over 2003-2017 period. Specifically, analyzes effects Turkey’s with its major trading partners, namely, European Union countries, Russia, United States, Iraq, and China. findings reveal that increased exports selected countries lead generation manufacturing. Both imports from have positive effects. Considering only sectors highest growth during period we can conclude Union, Iraq led decline however China Russia industry.
